Back in Hong Kong

It is both old and new to be back living in Hong Kong. Old, in that I have lived here before and have some history and knowledge here. New, in that this is now, with Garu and unfolding. Certainly, coming from Nepal – which could not be more different – it is such a contrast. Everything feels like a luxury, still. So easy. Like living in one big hotel. The most obvious things are food. But there is transport, accommodation (24hr electricity, so functioning fridge for starters), internet, entertainment, shopping, sea… . Not that I don’t miss Nepal, but it creeps up on me only occasionally. It is a deep feeling though. I feel I will go back, some time. But first this…
